Global Lifting Awareness Day reminds us that quality and expertise are the foundation of every safe lifting operation.
On Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD) 2026, we join the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and numerous companies worldwide in an initiative aimed at raising awareness of safe lifting operations and high-quality lifting equipment.
Under this year's theme, “Not all lifting equipment is created equal”, attention is drawn to an important issue: Not every lifting component meets the same requirements in terms of quality, application, and safety.
Important decisions are already made during the selection and procurement of lifting equipment that later determine efficiency and safety. Clear identification, complete documentation, and the selection of suitable products are essential prerequisites for safe operation.
